Hello, Conner Street Families, here is your weekly call out. Yearbooks have been delivered and we do have a few extra. If you are interested in purchasing a yearbook, please send $20 in an envelope with your child’s name. We have switched yearbook companies for this school year, and we are very excited about what we are seeing so far. One of the hardest parts of building a yearbook is finding the pictures to fill the pages. With our new yearbook company, we can offer a link where families can upload pictures to possibly be put in the yearbook. That link is on our Facebook page, as well as our school webpage. Please use that link to upload photos of the first day of school, class parties, Trunk or Treat, or any other school activities. These pictures are not public. Our annual Smencil Sale will take place the week of February 2nd. Next week our Kid’s Heart Challenge will start. Students will be bringing home information from Coach Cummings, and we do have an introductory video on our Facebook. Valentine’s Parties are on Friday, February 14th. These are student/teacher parties only. February 14th is also a 3-hour early dismissal. Classroom teachers and/or homeroom parents will be in contact about any items needed for the parties and whether they will be decorating boxes or bags. Monday, February 17th is now a regular school day. This day is being used to make-up our last snow day. The first five snow days do not need to be made up due to our banked time in the school day. Please make sure to circle the block in the morning, we again are getting backed up at the exit of our lot and we cannot pull parents into the loop if the parents in the front cannot exit. Have a great weekend!
