All breakfast meals are FREE for the 2020-21 school year and many different breakfast items are ready to be served in school cafeterias as soon as students arrive each morning.
School breakfast choices include milk, grain/bread and fruit/vegetable components, an extra protein source, and meals are low in sugar, sodium, and fat content. We hope that your plans include to SCORE BIG and reach your goals this week for National School Breakfast Week and every week!

Putnam County Schools has released Pre-K and Kindergarten registration dates for the 2021-2022 school year.
To register your child for Pre-K, please visit the PCS website at putnamschools.com and select the “Parents” tab under the menu. You will then select “PreK” and complete the registration form.
To register your child for Kindergarten, please call your child’s school to schedule an appointment.
If you find that you have additional questions or need assistance with the registration process, please contact your child’s school or Putnam County Schools at 304.586.0500 ext. 1122 or ext. 1178.

All Putnam County winners will have the opportunity to participate at the WV Young Writers Day on May 7th, 2021. They will hear keynote speakers and join other county winners in writing workshops conducted by distinguished authors. The highlight of the day is the awards ceremony that honors every county winner.
