⭐️ Hometown Receives Grant to Boost Workplace Wellness! ⭐️ Hometown Elementary is pleased to be selected as one of only 20 workplaces statewide to receive a $1,000 grant to support workplace wellness. These grants are made possible by Active Southern West Virginia and WV Division of Health Promotion and Chronic Disease. 🚨IMPORTANT PCS UPDATE🚨 ***PCS Remote Learning – Friday, January 29, 2021*** All Putnam County Schools will operate remotely on Friday, January 29, 2021 as this date has been scheduled by the West Virginia Interagency Taskforce and those providing the vaccine on-site for Putnam County School employees to receive their second COVID-19 vaccination. Although this may result in an inconvenience for families, it is reassuring to know that employees, who work with students directly, are receiving the second COVID-19 vaccination. Free school meals will continue to be provided for all PCS students. Friday pick-up times for meals are from 11:00 am-12:30 pm at each school. Families will pick-up meals at their students’ home school location, curbside while remaining in the vehicle. If transportation is a problem, families may contact their home school to request meal delivery assistance.
