STATE-LEVEL
On March 10, 2025, Putnam County Schools Division II Science & Engineering Fair Regional Winners joined 246 students (190 projects) from across the state to present at the 2025 WV State Science & Engineering Fair. Student scholars employed scientific methodology, math, statistics, data analysis, and other skills to explore their world and draw conclusions based on evidence. Additionally, students utilize reading, writing, grammar, public speaking, and global awareness skills in their presentations. Congratulations to all Putnam Participants and those projects that placed top in the state!

On January 16, 2025, Putnam County Schools hosted its Division II Science & Engineering Fair (SEF) at Winfield Middle School. Putnam County Middle School student participants presented their projects to groups of volunteer judges for an opportunity to advance to the Region III Science & Engineering Fair on February 11, 2025, at Coonskin Park Clubhouse in Charleston.
