College Board - This year all 11th grade students will take the College Board SAT College Entrance Exam as the mandated state assessment. There are a variety of online practice programs available for students. Students can also download the Daily Practice SAT app for daily questions. It is all free.

Khan Academy - Free math, history, science and language arts instruction via video lessons and activities by grade level.

Advanced Placement (AP) - Students can access online support activities and online services. Choose an AP course. When the course page opens, choose Exam Practice from the green tool bar.

Destiny - Online access to school library collections of eBooks. Click here for further instructions.

IXL -  Free math and language arts lessons available by grade level (preK-12) that doesn't require a login.

IXL for Putnam County - Subject area lessons that require student login - first initial and last name (may include a number).

LearningExpress Library - Test and job preparation material available from the West Virginia Library Commission.

Online textbooks and materials are used by Putnam County Schools in many subject areas. Beside each content area below is a link to the website for the text and resources. Teachers can provide username and password for books used in their classrooms.
