Welcome to Putnam County Schools, one of the finest school systems in the state of West Virginia. Putnam County Schools serves more than 9,900 students in grades pre-kindergarten through twelve in 14 elementary schools, 4 middle schools, 4 high schools, and 1 career and technical center. Putnam County Schools is led by Superintendent John Hudson and a five member elected Board of Education.
