Middle School Summer Program

Middle School (Grades 6-8) Summer 2020 Virtual Program Information

This middle-level summer learning program is designed to help students continue to enrich and refresh their skills after the COVID-19 absence from the physical classroom.

Students will receive a virtual Microsoft Teams link daily and connect with a live teacher. The teacher will be available to demonstrate, instruct, and answer questions for students on the video Microsoft Teams call. The teacher will choose valuable concepts within the current grade level to review, reteach, and enrich. Teachers will only be virtually covering essential core concepts in regular grade-level Math and English/Language Arts 6 - 8.  Be sure when registering that you select the proper grade level for your student(s).  They should register for the grade levels the students were in for the 2019-2020 school year.

The sessions will begin on Tuesday, June 23, 2020, and will continue through July 27, 2020.  Microsoft Teams classroom chats will occur in the mornings from 8:30 - 10:00 for math and 10:15 - 11:45 for English/Language Arts.  Students may take math,  English/Language Arts, or may sign up for both within their grade level as the times are staggered. No grades will be given, and this is not for credit recovery.

Sign-ups will start June 1 and be available until June 12, 2020, and can be accessed using the registration icon below.
