Prepare for the SAT and More - Free Tutorials 

The West Virginia Library Commission provides statewide databases with funding from the West Virginia State Legislature and the Library Services and Technology Act free to all students, teachers and parents.  Called InfoDepot, the databases include Explora Magazines and Newspapers, West Virginia Encyclopedia and Archives, World Book online, GreenFILE, Scholastic Go and Learning Express to name a few.  InfoDepot is accessible from the school’s software launch site or from home users can simply open a browser and navigate to http://wvinfodepot.org/. 

One particularly useful database in InfoDepot is the Learning Express Library.  Dubbed a center for everyone, targeted learning centers provide patrons of all ages with easy-to-use, online navigation to interactive tutorials, test preparation, and eBooks. Learning Express has created high-performing products that help users excel in today’s demanding world. The solutions are self-paced for optimal learning in any environment, whether in school, at home, or on the go.

Learning Express Library provides a comprehensive selection of academic and career-related resources.  It delivers academic skill building in reading, writing, math and sciences, standardized test preparation, soft skills training, job search and career advancement, college admissions test preparation, professional licensing and certification test preparation, high school equivalency test prep and more. 

Of interest to many high school students is ACT and SAT test preparation.  Learning Express Library provides the practice searched for by many.  By simply following the steps below, anyone can gain access to this database of math exercises, reading selections and practice tests.  Users must create a free account in order to access all features.

  • Navigate to http://wvinfodepot.org/
  • Select Learning Express Library
  • Click the left and/or right arrows to navigate to College Prep Center
  • At this point, create a free account by registering with Learning Express

You are now ready to access the trainings and practices.
